I’m Kate, a 40-something, AuDHD, mom and professional organizer. I love colorful sneakers, graphic tees, spreadsheets, chocolate, pets, and Doctor Who!  

 

Learning that I was AuDHD (Autism + ADHD) was a game changer.  My need for structure, and my struggle to get it in my mixed-up puzzle of a brain finally made sense! I began to develop ways to give myself the structure that I needed, and in doing so learned about all the different ways people manage the STUFF in their lives.

 

I know how overwhelming mess can be. It can cause depression and anxiety. It can keep you from moving forward, and keep you from doing the things you love. I met far too many people, especially women and mothers, who felt shame around their mess. That shame, plus the cost of hiring someone to come in and help them, kept them from hiring a professional organizer. I get it.

 

Our spaces are not “after photos. No one’s are. We all live in a “during.” The space between before and after.
